1-Hour rehearsal (scheduled in advanced), 2-hours Pre-Ceremony use of Clubhouse, 5 hours of Grounds and Club use for Ceremony and Reception. Setup and Cleanup time is included as follows: 2 hours for Setup and 1 hour for Cleanup. All clients’ items must be removed from the Club at the end of the event.
Wedding Ceremony Rehearsal
Due to other events, we cannot guarantee your rehearsal will be scheduled the day before your event. It may be scheduled earlier in the week. 1 hour maximum.
For an additional fee, you are welcome to use the Clubhouse for your rehearsal and can bring your own food and beverages.
Events must end by 11:00pm with music ending at 10:00pm and last call at 9:30pm. Events that last beyond 11:00pm will incur a $750/hour fee. You will have 1-hour after your event to be sure all items are removed, with the exception of rentals, which, if scheduling permits, can be picked up the next day.
Each event package includes 5 hours rental of the property. You may purchase additional hours for your event at the rate of $750 per hour.
Alcoholic Beverages cannot be self-serve, except for pre-ceremony in the Bride’s and Groom’s dressing/prep areas.Bar must close 30 minutes prior to the end of the event.
The San Diego Polo Club, in conjunction with Best Beverage Catering and Snake Oil Cocktail Co., reserves the right to close the bar at anytime and/or refuse service to anyone who may be intoxicated, unruly, or under 21 years of age.
All food service must be provided by one of the San Diego Polo Club’s licensed and insured caterers on our approved list. Additional caters must be pre-approved, licensed and insured.
Free Self-Parking is included on site.
Deposit and Payments
A 30% Non-Refundable Deposit is required with signed contract. An additional 60% is due 90 days after the first deposit. The Balance is due by Cashiers Check the Monday before the Event.
A minimum coverage of $1,000,000 General Liability for any accidents or damages that may occur, is required to be purchased by client. The client is responsible for all damages on or to the property. Proof of this policy must be submitted 30 days prior to the event. Wedsafe can provide this insurance policy for you!
Deposits may be transferred to another newly scheduled event as long as the San Diego Polo Club is given 3 months in advance notice, prior to the change. You will have 1 year from the date you cancel or postpone to use your deposit.
In the event of inclement weather, the San Diego Polo Club may decide that the event has to be postponed due to the event be solely on grass. Rain back up if no tenting is on your order needs to be in place one week prior to your event.
The Client is responsible for all damages incurred to the San Diego Polo Club premises and/or property by the host, his guests, independent contractors or other agents that are under the client’s control.
The client must be responsible for all guests and understand the release of claims on the San Diego Polo Club and their employees.
The San Diego Polo Club is not responsible for acts of nature on the property during or subsequent to any event.
The San Diego Polo Club is not responsible during or subsequent to any event, for lost items in any of the private areas or anywhere on the premises. Please assign a member of the party to keep track of valuables.
The San Diego Polo Club is a smoke-free facility. You can work with our Event Coordinator to designate a smoking area where we will provide smoking receptacles.
Rice is not allowed.
If fresh flowers are sprinkled on the ground, they must be picked up before the conclusion of the event.
Open fire and sparkler are permitted under supervision and must be pre-approved.
